On Thursday, 5th December 2024, AMI will host a webinar on ‘Academic Writing for Islamic Studies’ by Dr Ali-Reza Bhojani, Assistant Professor in Islamic Ethics at the University of Birmingham.

Speaker Bio:
Dr Ali-Reza Bhojani is an Assistant Professor of Islamic Ethics at the University of Birmingham. With a PhD from Durham University and a Hawza graduate degree from the Al-Mahdi Institute, he has held esteemed academic positions at institutions such as Oxford and Nottingham. His influential scholarship, including the landmark Moral Rationalism and Sharī‛a (Routledge, 2015) and numerous peer-reviewed articles, delves into Islamic legal theory, philosophical theology, and religious authority, offering a sophisticated interdisciplinary perspective on Islamic Studies.
