Shaykh Mahmood Dhalla began his traditional seminary studies at Al-Mahdi Institute in 1996 and was among its first graduates. He later earned an M.Phil. from the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Birmingham. 

 

He has held various positions at AMI over the years and now primarily leads as the External Events Coordinator, where he manages venue hire and external engagements, ensuring that AMI’s facilities are accessible and welcoming to diverse communities. Among other roles, he also represents the Institute in select interfaith and intra-faith initiatives, reflecting AMI’s ethos of inclusivity and dialogue.
