Al-Mahdi Institute : Education & Research

AMI Outreach Grant Applications

Established in 1993 as a center for higher learning in Islam, the Al-Mahdi Institute has always been committed to ensuring that its research and educational activities reach beyond the scholarly circles of the Hawza’s, Madaris and Universities. Accordingly, AMI Outreach strives to provide a platform for dialogue and discussion within Islam, between different religions and amongst humanity. Its purpose is to disseminate ideas stimulated via AMI’s Education and Research to individuals, communities, practitioners and institutions.

With a belief that diverse religious voices can continually learn from each other, AMI’s activities seek to invite cross sections of the communities at large to discuss, share and learn from individuals of all faiths and backgrounds. This is achieved through Inter-faith and Intra-faith events, academic workshops, conferences and tailor-made short courses available in-house, at other locations and online. These events are designed to address misconceptions within various religions and contemporary socio-political issues affecting mankind.

Other projects conducted by AMI Outreach are, translation and dissemination projects which involve the translation of important literature, lectures and publications into different languages for the relaying of crucial information to communities at large.

Designed to encourage the dissemination of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammed and his impeccable progeny, The AMI Outreach Grant Application process will enable committed individuals from anywhere in the world, to gain access to support and funding from the Al-Mahdi Institute to ensure the success of deserved projects and events.
