In line with its philosophy of open learning, Al-Mahdi Institute does not deem it necessary to set fixed criteria for entry, as it firmly maintains that the Hawza Programme should be available for all to attend and acquire knowledge. However, an essential requirement for entry on all entry-level modules in year One is that students are able to read basic Arabic and are fluent in English Language. For entry on any other modules, students are advised to ensure that they fulfil the module prerequisites for their chosen modules before enrolling.
Due to the intensive nature of this course, coupled with the extensive assessment process in the form of both examinations and assignments, mature students or students who have studied to graduate level are usually best equipped to enter the programme. However, all applications are considered on individual merit and ability to succeed in the programme. Click here to submit your application form.
